Main objective is to decrease cardiovascular mortality by 30% in the next 5 years. Main actions in the prevention area include initiation of at least 20 regional prevention centres (covering half of the counties); increase of the early diagnosis of CCVD; development of online platforms for patients. Meanwhile, it aims to expand access to care in underserved regions and to reduce time from symptoms-to-intervention by at least 20%. It includes a strategic framework and a detailed funded plan of approximately 200 million Euro.

Limitations / comments

Success depends on intersectoral collaboration and sustained funding. Implementation across diverse healthcare settings; monitoring progress towards 2030 targets.
